Camino Real Restaurants
There arenít many things that warm the heart like a hot plate of Mexican food, and Camino Real has excelled at providing just that for over 20 years!!
Co-owner Jose Onate explained how he and his cousin, Raul, opened the first Camino Real in Murfreesboro along Northwest Broad Street in 1990. Throughout the next 20 years, the restaurantís popularity continues to grow and their business has expanded to 7 Camino Real locations in Tennessee (4 located in Murfreesboro, one each in Antioch, Dickson, and Franklin), 4 El Metate locations in the Chattanooga Area (Soddy Daisy, Hixson, Whitwell and Dunlap), 2 El Molcajete locations in Tennessee (Manchester and Springfield), 2 El Comal (Mt. Juliet, Clarksville, and Jackson), with one El Molcajete in Russellville KY. They have one location called El Sombrero in Nolensville and a Mi Camino in Smyrna.
From day one, Onate said he strived to provide high quality and large portions at a reasonable cost, even during the economyís highs and lows. "People ask why we havenít cut our portions, but thatís what people have come to know, and we continue to serve the highest quality and the same amount of food,Ē he said. Furthermore, Camino Real has always served MSG-FREE food. It is an indulgence you can feel good about!
These factors, combined with the high level of service provided, have kept customers coming back.
